The best Indian in the Downham Market area, Titash is a real gem and is well worth a visit. There's an excellent menu full of both the usuals and more eclectic dishes I rarely see. The service is the best I've experienced in a long time - from truly attentive staff to offering complimentary drinks at the end of the meal. The manager even gave a rose to my mum in a lovely act of kindness! So I'd highly recommend eating in sometime if you're local. Most importantly, the food is superb (pictured) - you can taste individual ingredients and it's not too oily, two aspects I rarely see in an Indian. Finally, the price was reasonable (45 for three of us - including drinks, food, veg, sides). In conclusion, this is a place well worth travelling for; whether you're living in the area of travelling through.

Amazing food & service tonight as always. Health inspector in to check hygiene star rating, which understandably slowed down the service time, but well worth the wait. You kept your customers updated showing presence & chatting to each table. We felt very welcomed. A busy night but everyone understanding. Thanks for the complimentary nan & rice offered for the wait. Congratulations on your 5 star rating!! Well deserved!! We will be back again soon.

I visited Titash during the platinum Jubilee weekend and was thoroughly happy with both the service and the quality of food from this establishment. Very few restaurants can truly grasp the flavour and authenticity of dishes - but Titash does this with ease. The chicken Tikka was full of taste, rich and juicy too and the aroma from it was sensational. The king prawns was my personal favourite, the hot spices added onto the flavour rather than taking away from the experience - a perfect balance. And the lamb was excellent in all avenues, soft and succulent. A personal one I'd recommend! The chicken biryani picture speaks for itself, enriched flavour in every bite. We even got a dessert at the end which was a wonderful way to wrap up the evening. I thoroughly recommend a stop by Titash for authentic South Asian food. You will not be disappointed. I for one, will certainly be back!

Reliably excellent - a family visiting for a birthday celebration, we were properly looked after by the Titash staff. Poppadums to start, your reviewer opted for lamb Madras for mains, and ice-cream for afters, before an Irish coffee. It was all very good, and we look forward to returning soon.

If you’re hungry, this is the place to be! The portions are generous, and the buffet nights? Absolutely dangerous—my waistband never stood a chance. The service is top-notch, with staff so friendly they could charm a cobra. The bright green walls are... well, let’s just call them ‘energetic.’ But the real showstopper was when my friend ordered the Agni Chicken. The flaming dish turned into a scene from Backdraft—the waiter had to open the door, everyone was coughing like we’d been tear-gassed. Despite the chaos, it was a hilariously memorable night we’ll never forget. Great food, lively atmosphere—just bring a fire extinguisher if you’re ordering Agni Chicken!”
